AWANA is the acronym for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed".
This refers to 2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
Awana Clubs are built on the 3B ministry philosophy of child discipleship:
Belong - Children build spiritual resilience when they feel they belong to Jesus
Believe - when they believe in the truth of the Bible
Become - and then become disciple-makers in their own right.
What Happens at an Awana Club?
A night at an Awana club is all about connecting with others, learning about the Gospel, and having a great time, helping kids grow in their faith.
Large Group Time:
This part of the night focuses on a Bible lesson, but it's not just about sitting and listening! We make it fun and interactive with things like puppet shows, music, announcements, and awards. The goal is to keep the kids engaged and bring the message of Christ to life.
Small Group Time:
In small groups, kids gather around a leader they get to know well. This is a time for building friendships, asking questions, and talking about the Bible lesson.
They also work through their handbooks and pray together, which helps them learn and grow in a supportive setting.
Group Activity Time:
Kids get to play games that get them moving and laughing, whether outside or in the fellowship hall.
Registration is open for children grade K - 6th.
Join us on Wednesday nights from 630pm - 8pm starting September 3rd.
